Dr. Gaby and I first connected during a social collaboration that blossomed into a wonderful friendship. One day, she reached out with an idea that immediately resonated with me. As a beautiful silver curly girl herself, Dr. Gaby noticed a significant gap in the market—quality products tailored specifically for silver naturals were scarce, especially plant-based and sustainable options. Her suggestion? A product line inspired by the same values that have shaped Ecoslay, focusing on silver-haired naturals who deserve better.

At the time, we were finalizing the details of our Ecobator program (link to the Ecobator page), and the idea of SilverSlay was a perfect fit for Ecoslay’s mission. But I wanted SilverSlay to be more than just a line of products. Much like when I created Ecoslay, I found myself reflecting on what I personally wanted as I age—especially now that silver strands are beginning to appear along my hairline.
