I have short, low density, low porosity, 2B to 3B, very fine gray hair. No more issues with holding curls from one wash day to the next. I just follow with Jello Shot after my leave-in. I use a dime size dollop, spray my hair with copious amounts of filtered water, and work it in with both hands from root to ends. A little goes a long way. Then lightly scrunch with a fine cotton dish towel. I then diffuse on low flow, and low heat, upside down, for a few minutes. Takes awhile for my hair to dry completely. Then I lightly squish and squeeze my curls to get volume and SOTC. Between wash days, I spray with filtered water, and sometimes add a bit more Jello Shot, diffuse, and SOTC when dry. I get much less breakage with this flax seed based gel. My fine hair can’t stand up to copolymers. Thank you Ecoslay
