Our vitamin-infused Hot Sauce contains the nutrients needed to promote a healthy, flourishing scalp. Hot Sauce is perfect for pre-poos and hot oil treatments, setting the stage for a fabulous week after wash day!

Ingredients

Peppermint Schnapps Ingredients: Marshmallow-Infused Water, Cocoa pod ashes, Plantain skins ashes, Palm kernel oil, Coconut oil, Jojoba Oil, Honey, Caprylhydroxamic acid, Glyceryl Caprylate, Glycerin, Peppermint Essential Oil, Rosemary Essential Oil, Tea Tree Oil, Lavender Essential Oil.

Hot Sauce Ingredients: Sustainably Sourced Certified Organic Red Palm Oil, Jamaican Black Castor Oil, Biotin, MSM, Vitamin C, Rosemary Essential Oil, Peppermint Essential Oil.

How To Use

Use Hot Sauce in one of these three fabulous ways:

1) As a pre-poo: Massage into wet or dry hair, focusing on the scalp. Allow the goodness to marinate for 30 minutes before washing with Peppermint Schnapps.

2) As a hot oil treatment: Allow the bottle of Hot Sauce to sit in a container of hot water until warm. Apply to scalp, massage thoroughly, allowing Hot Sauce to marinate for 30 minutes before washing with Peppermint Schnapps.

3) Mixed in with your favorite deep conditioner: Mix an ample amount of hot sauce into your favorite deep conditioner, allowing the mixture to marinate for 30 minutes before washing with Peppermint Schnapps.

Follow up with Peppermint Schnapps:

1) Apply sparingly directly to scalp

2) Massage scalp to produce suds

3) Start at the scalp and work your way through hair strands

4) Rinse. If your hair has build up or is oily, you may require an additional wash.

Important Note

Hot Sauce gets its red color from carotenes like alpha-carotene, beta-carotene, and lycopene, which are the same nutrients that give tomatoes and carrots their rich colors. Please protect clothing and linens accordingly.

We've found that when using the product sparingly and applied directly to the scalp, there have been few cases of staining. However, we do recommend a patch test on an inconspicuous spot just to be safe!

    Recipe for Success

    I absolutely love these two products! The ingredients are pure and effective. The lather of the Peppermint Schnapps is lovely and cleansing without stripping my curls of any essential moisture. The Hot Sauce is simply a miracle in a bottle! After treatments, my curls are tighter and shinier than ever before. I love love love the combination! Before I tried these, I would deep condition and my hair would be weighted down with oil through about four washes. With this Eco Slay combo, I simply have moisturized, clean, healthy curls.

    Hot Sauce as Stand Alone

    As promised, I tried these 2 products each as stand alone. I used the hot sauce as a hot oil treatment as directed. I will be using it again, my hair needs this treatment. I could tell a difference in shine and bounce. This time, I did wash with a low-poo.

    I did try again with the shampoo as a stand alone product. I was able to create sudsing in my hands however, as soon as I put the soap on my hair, ask I git was a coating. So far I think my hair is just too high porosity, fine and weak to benefit from the schnapps. I’m sure I will try again after a few more hot sauce treatments.

    Cocktails

    First thing I used upon receiving my first pkg. was hot sauce pre-poo. I used a cap and waited 30 min. Meanwhile I read info and watched videos about the a little goes a long way “sudsing” poo.

    My hair is:

    •short shag 2c

    •thin, fine, frail

    •High Porosity

    •100%Caucasian (not sure if this matters)

    My results:

    * OMGoodness, the detangling and softness was awesome

    *I could not get any sudsing,

    *I felt that perhaps the reason why my hair did not “feel clean“ was I may had put too much hot sauce on my scalp. (?) I don’t think so, I used sparingly.

    *i decided to style the next morning.

    *hair felt as if it was coated and greasy

    *nice shine, NO DULLNESS to my hair

    * NO FRIZZ! All day I fussed over my hair, still no frizz

    As soon as I returned home that day, I did a final wash with Suave Clarifying. Followed by Ecoslay Deep Conditioner. Awesome

    So far, my hair did not respond well to the poo, but I will try again using using different methods (weekends only). If ever I receive better results, I will modify this post (if possible) or update by adding another.
