I've compared this with other clean protein masks and I'll say that this is the best clean protein treatment that is a true protein treatment. The other ones I've compared it to tend to be conditioning masks with protein instead of a true protein treatment, which is what I need because my hair does NOT need more conditioning! I'm so glad I have something like this to help my hair reach a balanced state.
I know this works because I noticed major differences in my hair with each use. In the beginning, I was using this mask for 20 minutes at a time, which really helped my limp waves spring up! I thought I had straight hair and started realizing I may have wavy hair instead, and this protein mask really helped reveal those waves! Right now I only use it for 5 minutes at a time so as to avoid my hair from getting too rigid, which is way you see a slower progression over time in the photos. (I learned that you can't just continuously dump protein on your hair without also giving it room to breathe in terms of elasticity with bond repair and flexibility with moisture)
I have been using this treatment for over 6 months now and really love it!

I’ve tried this once so far, and I noticed right away my curls were more defined after washing and drying. I didnt notice any heavy residue, and I have thin curly hair.

I use this product as a leave in conditioner since my hair has been so dry from the highlights I get. This is the only product that creates a good ali to help detabgle my hair. The banana cream smell is amazing.
