I used to make my own flax gel and it’s honestly too time consuming. Then I found Jason flax gel Hi shine which became my holy grail product. IT WAS D/C’ed and I was devastated. I tried this product on recommendation from the curly subreddit and didn’t expect much tbh. I used it on wet hair and “squish crunched” it in. My curl are soft and defined and I really love this product. The scent is pretty good like a natural orange dreamsicle to me. My only complaint is that the bottle is quite small and shipping wasn’t free but this is a high quality product for sure.

The Orange Marmalade and Banana Cream Conditioner were the first products I tried and the difference was immediate. I straightened my hair for 15 years and my hair would never grow beyond my shoulders, and when I first started letting my curls breathe again, the ends of my hair stayed almost straight even wet from all the damage (second photo with my sister is around this time in 2018). Fortunately, my roots have always kept a strong natural curl, and these products brought my curls as a whole back to life and made them better than ever (first front/back photo is from late 2025), especially since introducing other Ecoslay products like the Chai Latte Cleanser, Lemon Drop Styling Foam and the Sangria Refresher (my third most-loved staple!). No other brand of products touches my hair unless it's a random occasion when I add in some hairspray.

Great curl products are so hard to come by, it's why I never liked my curls once I became a teenager. Now, when I get stopped by random girls and women asking what I use, I remain eager and excited to share. I was introduced to Ecoslay back in 2018 by my older sister who had stumbled on the brand. It was only available through the website back then and I am almost certain the products were still being made out of the founder's home at the time. I have seen this brand grow so much and it is every bit deserving. **Every girl with curls needs to experience the magic of these products!
