I’ve used the product 3 times so far on my hair & so far so good. I’ve recently combed my locs out & trying to get my hair back together. I usually keep my hair twisted & wear a scarf or wig. Last time I washed my hair I ran out of time & didn’t have time to rinse this out & reapply as a leave in. So I left it in my hair & twisted my hair really quick before I had to slap a wig on & leave. Taking it out a week later & thankfully there’s no residue or anything from the amount of product that I had to leave in my hair. Attached a pic of my hair when I took my twists out.

I have type 2B low porosity hair. I took the hair quiz and Matcha Boost was recommended. I had already been using the Mud Pie Clay Clarifying
Treatment as well as the Banana Cream deep conditioner to replenish moisture. 3 days after using the Matcha Boost for just 5 minutes this is my hair — ugh!!!! Dandruff EVERYWHERE & SO GREASY & zero wave & my scalp hurts.

I wasn’t really sure what to expect. I’ve spent more money than I’m comfortable with trying to find a product that works. This works. Immediate difference in moisture retention and shine. I have a thick head of 4b/4c hair. The thickest part being the middle of my head. That can be very course as it tends to be the driest. I say get the banana Cream Deep.
