"It's too hot to do my hair!"
Summer Routine

Here's the routine we'd get during our Summer Slay Sale... cause it's hot and we are NOT spending hours on our hair this summer.

Rice Pudding Leave-In Conditioner

#1. PRIME the hair for maximum absorption | Ginger & Moringa Tea Rinse

This is key! This will help your products work better so that you don't need as many steps. Right after cleansing, spray Ginger & Moringa throughout your entire hair and then rinse.

Rice Pudding Leave-In Conditioner

#2. SKIP the leave-in, use a deep conditioner.

During the summer months, the moisture in the air may be enough to prevent your curls from drying out. So use Banana Cream Deep Conditioner like a normal conditioner, and as your only conditioning step. If you need a little more moisture, don't rinse until the water is completely clear - leave a little conditioner in your hair so your curls remain slippery. ONLY do this if you have healthy curls - if you have damage, use leave-in.

#3. STYLE with Jello Shot

On soaking wet hair, apply Jello Shot. Jello Shot has enough hold to work as a single summer styler, and enough hydrating extracts to will keep your curls defined and smooth. But you need to make sure you are using enough product and water!

Sangria Hair Refresher

#4. DIFFUSE your roots

If your hair takes forever to dry, using less emollients and products should help speed up the process. Roots take the longest, so whether you normally diffuse or air dry, diffuse your roots to help your curls dry faster. This will prevent frizz!

.

That's it!

The key here is to help your hair absorb your products so that you use less. This should cut on dry time - and the faster your curls set, the less frizz!
