I honestly don’t like peppermint scented things all that often, but the smell of this is not overwhelming. I use hair oils a lot because my scalp is healthy, but my hair be dry as the day is long. This is my third time buying it and it cuts right through bhringraj, coconut, amla, and Jamaican black castor oils. It works great! I originally wasn’t sure about the bottle, but that works amazing, too! I keep it in the pump and put my hair oil in the “tipper” thing.

My hair journey has been an intense one. I have extremely unique hair for my ethnicity because my Irish/Scottish heritage. I have very fine hair rather than course, but my hair is extremely curly. It is medium porosity, and requires a lot of heavy moisture, but will get weighed down and greasy quickly affecting my hurl pattern. I have tried everything! Some products I was happier than others, but the last 5 years after I lost so much hair I had to chop it off to chin length, I decided to move into all handmade products. This left my hair healthier, but also harder to style and manage. It wasn’t until Ecoslay that I found the most incredible results I have ever experiences. I wash once a week, and the products keep my hair well enough between wash days. I hardly experience any hair loss when detangling, and as far as I can tell, I am experiencing little to no breakage. My curl pattern is on fire, and my frizz issues and any dry areas have seemingly disappeared. My hair is growing and maintaining length like I haven’t ever experienced even when my hair was at its longest. I cannot thank you enough Ecoslay! I am so excited to work towards my hair length goals with you in my life! To the waist we go!

I've used about two bottles of the old formula, that contained African black soap, and now about 2 bottles of the new without. gotta say it's a huge difference, the old formula worked much better and left me with a cleaner scalp, I have very thick 3a/b hair and feel like I have to use almost 1/4 of a bootle to get a good lather with the new formulation. Would love if they changed it back, old recipe was perfect

This is a very think shampoo so be aware. That doesn’t bother me. I bought a squeeze bottle and put it in that. Makes it super easy to control! This does exactly what it’s supposed to do! My hair was nice and clean. I will buy again.
